Right-Angle Prism

A right-angle prism is a multi-faceted optical component made of transparent materials such as glass (e.g., K9 material) or crystal. Its principal section forms an isosceles right triangle. As a standard optical element, right-angle prisms are widely used in light path steering and imaging systems, relying on total internal reflection and precision coating to achieve highly stable optical performance.

Core Functions:

Efficiently deflects the light path through the principle of total internal reflection, adjusting the light path direction by 90 ° or 180°, or used for applications such as image combination and beam offset.

Imaging Characteristics: Depending on the orientation of the prism, the image can appear with left and right sides consistent but top and bottom inverted, or with left and right sides reversed but top and bottom consistent.
